PORTSMOUTH, N.H., October 17, 2013 – LEGACY announced Mike Glodziak as their new President. Glodziak will be responsible for the entire LEGACY Supply Chain Services business, comprised of warehousing & distribution, international and domestic transportation, and customs & compliance divisions.
“This appointment reflects Mike’s leadership, expertise, and visionary approach to our market,” a LEGACY spokesperson explained. “Mike has a proven ability to develop leading-edge supply chain solutions that will meet the needs of our clients.”
Mr. Glodziak was previously the President of Vitran Supply Chain Operation (Vitran SCO), a North American third-party supply chain provider specializing in complex, high-velocity logistics networks servicing leading North American Retailers. Vitran SCO was acquired by LEGACY in March of this year.
The alignment of operational and technological resources, and expanded industry vertical expertise will enhance LEGACY’s supply chain solutions capabilities. The appointment of Mike Glodziak as President will further the expansion of LEGACY’s client offerings.

Mr. Glodziak holds a degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada) and has over 25 years of experience in North American supply chain management and design. Mike served as President of Vitran SCO beginning in 2004. Prior to joining Vitran SCO, Mike served as a Principal with Tompkins Associates, where he managed large supply chain re-engineering projects in Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
