A Canadian retailer and B2B distributor needed to scale ecommerce and in-store fulfillment without a major capital investment. Rapid growth put pressure on inventory visibility and financial tracking.

An omnichannel strategy was implemented to optimize inventory across brick and mortar and online channels, with full visibility into performance and financial tracking. The solution enabled high-volume ecommerce fulfillment and scalable infrastructure with minimal capital investment.

Results

1. Fulfilled over 1,000 ecommerce orders per day
2. Exceeded forecast volume by an average of 113.2% year-over-year for four consecutive years
3. Surpassed productivity targets by an average of 21.6%

Legacy led a pilot project for Electric Vehicles in Southern California with a leading electrical supply product distributor. The pilot’s objective was to determine if EV deployment was a viable, sustainable solution for shorter, local routes and deliveries in and around Southern California.

Today, Legacy and the client operate four 24 ft. BrightDrop Zevo 600 fleet units.  They are also currently testing two 16 ft. flatbeds.
