At Legacy Supply Chain, we customize our services to meet your individual needs — and it all comes backed by standardized, repeatable processes, advanced technology and unparalleled supply chain expertise. This combination of qualities enables us to offer pick and pack fulfillment services that optimize operational efficiency, reduce material and shipping costs, ensure order accuracy and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
There is no one pick and pack method that is more efficient than others. Some clients may find batch picking to be most effective, while others may prefer zone picking. Which method is most efficient for your business is entirely dependent on your particular needs, and the solutions experts at Legacy can help you make an informed decision.
The most popular include piece picking, batch picking, wave picking and zone picking. Legacy supports all of these picking methods, as well as custom picking for clients who have unique picking requirements.
Pick and pack — also known as pick, pack, ship — is a fulfillment method in which workers pick items from warehouse shelves and package them individually. It differs from traditional order fulfillment in that orders are packaged for shipment and delivery onsite at a warehouse rather than being sent to a distribution center.
From our nationwide network of warehouses and our Tier 1 Warehouse Management System, to our highly trained staff and advanced warehouse automations, we have the dedicated infrastructure in place to handle a high volume of returns and scale operations up or down as needed — all while powering efficiency and mitigating operational and shipping costs.
Though this varies depending on each client’s needs, a 72-hour disposition agreement is standard.
Although we work with each individual client to tailor our reverse logistics solutions to their particular business model and specifications, our general process is as follows:
Legacy is capable of managing the entire returns process on your behalf. As standard practice, we conduct a thorough quality assurance check on all return orders and validate that every item returned is what the customer received. From there, we process the return based on your specifications; our solutions team will work closely with you to design a custom offering that aligns with your business requirements. Visit our returns management page to learn more.
We offer a variety of value-added services including custom labeling, branded packaging, marketing materials and special inserts to help you deliver a signature experience to all of your subscribers and strengthen your brand’s reputation.
Legacy has the resourced and standardized processes in place to support all forms of subscription box fulfillment, including curated boxes, subscribe and saves and replenishment boxes.
