LEGACY Supply Chain Services Receives Sam’s Club Import Distribution Center of the Year for 3rd Year in a Row

RENO NV, March 19, 2019 – Sam’s Club honored LEGACY Supply Chain Services with their 2018 Import Distribution Center of the Year Award for warehousing operations excellence and overall supply chain metrics performance. It marks the third year in a row LEGACY has received this award.

The selection of LEGACY for the Sam’s Club Import DC of the Year Award recognizes LEGACY’s overall best-in-network performance compared to Sam’s Club operational indicators. Year-over-year performance improvement highlights include: significant reduction of Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO – a process performance metric), improvement of trailer cube optimization, and increase in productivity. The award also recognizes gains in level of service, compliance, quality, inventory management, and supply chain cost.
