Brunswick, GA | May 3, 2023 – Legacy Supply Chain is proud to have returned to Glynn County on April 18th, 2023, to give back and get involved with the community through Hand in Hand of Glynn as part of their annual Leadership Excellence Summit at Jekyll Island.

Hand in Hand of Glynn works to help end homelessness in Glynn County, Georgia, by providing permanent, affordable supportive homes to adults experiencing chronic homelessness. The program is designed to create a supportive community for residents by bringing medical and psychological assistance on-site, providing life skill classes, and involving residents in community life to help them achieve independence and a life of dignity. Legacy is proud to have partnered with this important, beneficial program that positively impacts the Glynn community for the second time.

Legacy has hosted their annual leadership event in the Jekyll Island area for over ten years and has partnered with many community-based organizations over the years. Legacy values servant leadership and making a difference in the communities in which they operate, and their work with Hand in Hand of Glynn helped them express those values. There was a great turnout, with team members and executives working hands-on to build new tiny-homes, complete minor renovations and repairs, and landscaping for the unhoused community.

“Returning to Hand in Hand of Glynn was a great experience for the Legacy team,” said Mike Glodziak, President and CEO of Legacy Supply Chain. “We had a great turnout, and it was really moving to be able to give back to those facing housing challenges during tough times,” he continued, “Legacy makes an effort to be as involved in the communities we operate in, and this was a great opportunity to do so.”
