December 18, 2014, Portsmouth, NH – LEGACY Supply Chain Services was recognized on the Transport Topics 2014 Top 50 Logistics Companies. This is LEGACY’s first inclusion on this annual list of the largest logistics companies in North America.
“At LEGACY, we’re committed to providing our clients end-to-end logistics solutions,” said Mike Glodziak, President of LEGACY Supply Chain Services. “We are proud of our inclusion on this list, as it reflects our continual growth and customer service focus.”
This year, tight capacity and increasing congestion are putting pressure on logistics companies to help shippers cope with the rising cost of transportation and longer transit times. Spending on third-party logistic services continues to rise and is projected to reach $154 billion in 2014, an increase of 5.2% from 2013.
Companies on the Top 50 Logistics Companies list are ranked based on net revenue for the most recent 12-month period. The list includes separate lists of the 25 largest freight brokerage firms, freight forwarders, warehouse operators and dedicated contract carriage service providers in the United States and Canada.
